Mare aux Vacoas – it is our biggest reservoir and the maximum capacity is about twenty nine cubic metres of water. It give tap water to almost six thousand people.

Black River Gorges – our national park viewpoint is protected by the Mauritius Wildlife Foundation which protects the fauna and the flora of Mauritius. Inside the park, you have many endemic birds and trees like pink pigeon, mauritian kestrel, mauritian ebony trees and many others.

Rhumerie of Chamarel – it was opened in 2008 and start producing agricultural rum in Mauritius.

Curious Corner of Chamarel – it is a house of illusion and mystery. Curious Corner is all about exploring that grey area of life, where things are not what they seem, while having fun in the process.

Chamarel waterfall and seven coloured earth – this waterfall is the highest one in Mauritius approximately 100 metres tall.

The seven coloured earth is a geographical phenomenon, it is the cooling down of the lava at different temperatures then decolorates the soil which transform it into seven different colours. You can distinctly observe the colours approx. Red, Brown, Violet, Green, Blue, Purple and Yellow.
